The Food Trust recently released Why the Farm Bill Matters for Greater Philadelphia, a comprehensive report detailing how the region’s food system and residents are affected by the billions of dollars in proposed cuts to the 2018 Bill.
According to the report, the proposed cuts mean that “670,000 Philadelphia-area residents would struggle with more hunger, more malnutrition, and more long-term health problems.”
