Natural Resources Defense Council has released two new reports (supported by the Rockefeller Foundation) that “showcase the role cities can play in addressing the [food waste] problem.”
As a supplement to the reports, NRDC released a package of case studies that highlight innovative approaches to food waste in U.S. cities. The list included three organizations whose work is currently being supported by Claneil’s Critical Issue Fund:
- Daily Table (Massachusetts)
- DC Central Kitchen (Washington, DC)
- Drexel University Food Lab (Philadelphia, PA)
