Salvation Farms’ mission is to build increased resilience in Vermont’s food system through agricultural surplus management by reducing food loss on farms, increasing the use of locally grown foods, and fostering appreciation for Vermont’s agricultural heritage and future. Salvation Farms works to scale innovative food recovery models in the state to reduce food loss farms, support hungry communities, and serve farmers and the local economy.
