Environment
The Village of Arts and Humanities brings together the arts and environment to improve community health. The Village provides arts, culture and environmental programs intended to refresh, restore and rebuild neighborhoods in North Philadelphia. Its youth leadership program, PhillyEarth, engages youth and adult neighborhood and city-wide participants, as well as more than 250 volunteers, in designing, building and stewarding a quarter-acre urban demonstration farm and innovative vacant land transformation projects.
