Organization logo features a red circle with the words Feast of Justice in the center

The organization serves the low-income neighborhoods in Northeast Philadelphia and is one of the largest food and community programs in the area. It serves 1,800 families annually, offers a choice food model that is open to the public five times a week, with programs that focus on fresh, nutritious offerings and non-food items for which SNAP dollars cannot be used.  The organization partners with others to provide educational and life skills opportunities such as nutrition education, behavioral health counseling, computer drop-in center, community meals, clothing closet, and resource counseling.  Focused on empowering transformation of community, it engages the community through active volunteerism. Volunteers serve more than 14,000 hours annually, live in the local community and plan, execute, and evaluate programs. This holistic community organization seeks to address root causes of poverty by offering resources, nutrition, and mental health counseling programs and by increasing volunteer engagement.
