Daily Table is an innovative, not-for-profit retail grocery store focused on increasing community health. In addition to produce, bread, dairy and grocery items, Daily Table offers ready to eat meals that are priced to compete with fast food options, making it easier for families and individuals to affordably make healthier choices. Daily Table receives donations of excess healthy food from a large network of grocers, supermarkets, and manufacturers.
Supported by start-up funding from the Claneil Foundation, Daily Table opened its first store in 2015 in Dorchester, MA. This Critical Issue Fund grant will support expansion plans to open stores in Boston and possibly other U.S. cities.
