What We Fund
Grant Programs
The Claneil Foundation supports nonprofits through three competitive grant programs: Community Fund , Emerging Leaders Fund, and Partnership Fund. The foundation also administers a Discretionary Fund. Please note that we do not accept unsolicited proposals for the Discretionary Fund.
Community Fund
The Community Fund supports small organizations (with budgets of $1 million or less) rooted in communities in the Philadelphia region.
Emerging Leaders Fund
The Emerging Leaders Fund offers funding and peer support for early-stage organizations and their leaders in the New England and Mid-Atlantic regions.
Partnership Fund
The Partnership Fund provides funding for past grantee partners initiating an organizational shift based on feedback from the communities they serve.
