National Young Farmers Coalition has issued a new report discussing the results of the 2017 National Young Farmer Survey.
FoodTank, the leading think tank for food issues, featured the results of the survey on their website. The report included such findings as the average age of American farmers is increasing, while the overall number of farmers is decreasing. Data was collected from “three thousand former, current, and aspiring farmers under 40 years of age in the United States with the help of 94 partners organizations.”
