Leah Penniman, Co-Director of Soul Fire Farm, was interviewed by NPR about her recently released book Farming While Black. The book examines the historic African roots of farming techniques, as well as the current experiences of black farmers in the United States.

Soul Fire Farm aims to end racism and injustice in the food system, and offers participants of its programs to share skills related to sustainable agricultural, health, spirituality, and environmental justice.
