The Urban Creators is a grassroots organization based in North Philadelphia. The mission of the Urban Creators is to use food, art & celebration, and political education as tools to nurture resilience, self-determination, equity, and youth empowerment in frontline communities. The organization engages young people as pioneers in the holistic revitalization of their own neighborhoods, and transforms neglected landscapes into urban farms, gardens, and artistic venues for radical self-expression. Together, these young people and the organization are committed to and rooted in love, mutual respect, and shared values of: Honoring Culture, Radical Inclusivity, Collaborative Leadership, Racial & Economic Justice, and Wellness.
