Fair Food was created in 2000 with the mission of promoting and preserving our region’s farmland, farmers, and local food producers. Fair Food has helped create a robust marketplace for local food through building wholesale market opportunities and demand for local products across the entire food supply chain. Working with 200+ producers each year, the organization engages a broad range of buyers including restaurants, hotels, colleges, hospitals, the City of Philadelphia, and others, while also selling direct to consumers through its retail stand at Reading Terminal Market in Philadelphia.
